I love paint. No, I LOOOOOOOVE paint! I am always amazed at what a HUGE difference a gallon (or three...) of paint can do for a room. I'll just cut to the chase...because there are no words...except maybe....I LOOOOOOVE PAINT!
Here is our Master Bedroom "before"....like yesterday..... Warning....it's really boring.
And here it is tonight.....the only thing that is different is the bedside lamps and the paint.....I LOVE IT! I admit...all day long I kept thinking..."Have I lost my mind? It's going to be SO dark!" And this morning when we were giving Sergio the Painter his instructions he said "You want the whole room this dark?" ...thanks Serg.....
It's all good in the hood because....I LOVE IT! It feels so warm and cozy. The color is Chocolate Pudding from Olympic. It's the color we had on the walls in our living room at our old house which made me feel a little more confident with the choice because we had used it before. It's more of a plum brown rather than a yellowish brown which works well with our cherry wood furniture.
I am so excited to get rid of the peach paint in one more room! The peach paint is maddening...grrrr....but the Chocolate Pudding is yummy!!!

LOVE! I was timid before we painted our bedroom a really bold color, but, you're right, a new color can make all the difference. Now I'm thinking I want to change to dark brown..LOL
ReplyDeleteLooks great! I meant to post that we painted the nursery chocolate and it is a much smaller space with less natural light and we love it! Great choice Brooke!
